With the second tower at Pinnacle Centre completed, units in what will be the tallest of four buildings in the downtown condominium complex were put on the market last month.
The 50-storey steel and glass structure - called Success Tower - offers a new collection of suites with popular designs from the first two buildings.
The complex, being developed by Pinnacle International on Harbour Street between Bay and Yonge, will eventually have 1,800 suites in the four towers. The first two are 40 and 29 storeys, respectively. A podium linking all the towers will contain shops at street level, and a 30,000-square-foot recreation centre on multiple floors.
To date, amenities already in place include a 70-foot indoor lap pool, a whirlpool tub, saunas and a gym. Commercial spaces will accommodate a range of businesses - from convenience stores to dry cleaners.
As the project progresses, the number of stores, restaurants and residential facilities will increase. The latter include a putting green, tennis court and running track, along with a landscaped terrace, billiards room, theatre, business centre, dining room and a party room with a kitchen and bar. There also will be two guest suites and a 24-hour concierge.
"You could basically live, work and play here," says Grace Kwok, the project's marketing consultant and owner of Anson Realty Ltd.
In addition, the complex is close to the theatre and entertainment districts, the Rogers Centre, Air Canada Centre, Harbourfront and the Toronto Islands. There will be easy access to the subway, GO Transit and the Gardiner Expressway.
Success Tower , which is expected to be completed by the summer of 2009, will contain 446 units with from one to three bedrooms. Ranging from 500 to 1,125 square feet in size, they are priced between $215,000 and $500,000.
For buyers who want more space, the newly released "Palatial" collection includes units - starting at the 34th floor - that range from 1,225 to 2,100 square feet. Prices go from $699,000 to $1.5-million.
The top two levels are for custom penthouse suites. A buyer can choose to occupy an entire floor - 8,000 square feet - at a price of more than $6-million.
Suites in the Palatial collection will have a private lobby, concierge and elevators, as well as upscale features such as crown moulding and designer kitchen cabinetry.
All units will have floor-to-ceiling windows, and balconies or terraces. Most plans have open principal rooms, kitchens and dens, as well as en suite laundry facilities. Interior finishes include carpeting, and stone and ceramic. There are five model suites for viewing.
The monthly fee for regular suites will be 42 cents a square foot; Palatial suites will cost an additional five cents. Parking is $25,000 and lockers $4,000.
